There are two tracks in the UW-Madison SLP M.S. program. The two-year professional program in speech-language pathology is designed to prepare students for clinical work. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s Council on Academic Accreditation has granted it accreditation. At the master’s level, it is required to complete supervised diagnostic and therapeutic encounters with children and adults in various on- and off-campus clinical settings.
